At The Aromatologist, we are committed to delivering your fragrances safely, efficiently, and with care. Below is everything you need to know about our shipping process.
Delivery Timeframes
We offer nationwide delivery within South Africa. Once your order has been confirmed:
Standard delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days.
Major cities and metropolitan areas usually receive orders within 2 to 3 business days.
Outlying and rural areas may require the full 5 - 7 business days.
Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.
The delivery timeframes are estimates. They can be affected by courier capacity, remote areas, weather, or other events outside our control.
Delivery Options
• Standard shipping is R100
• Free standard shipping on all orders over R1,250 witihn South Africa.
• Estimated delivery: 2 to 5 working days depending on your location.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 1:00 PM (SAST) on a business day are processed the same day.
Orders placed after this time, or on weekends or public holidays, are processed on the next business day.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or Whatsapp.
Shipping Partners
We work with reliable courier partners, The Courier Guy, to ensure secure and timely delivery nationwide. While we aim to meet all delivery timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control, including load shedding, weather conditions, strikes, or regional courier disruptions.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout.
Free delivery may be offered during promotions or on qualifying orders. Please refer to our website or promotional announcements for current offers.

All orders are carefully packaged to ensure your fragrances arrive in excellent condition. If your order arrives with visible damage, please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for assistance.

Please ensure that all shipping details provided at checkout are complete and accurate. The Aromatologist cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or lost parcels resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.
